Abstract Preparation Guides

Abstracts are one-page documents with title, list of authors and their affiliations, keywords, abstract text and a list of references. An abstract is an extremely important part of the paper as it summarizes the entire paper; it is the public’s window to your work and must allow the reviewers to make an intelligent decision about its acceptance. In writing the abstract, be quantitative, write it clearly and in good English.

Its typical composition should be:

  • Motivation for the paper
  • Objectives
  • What and how was done
  • Major results
  • Conclusions

The length of the abstract is limited to one page.
